Julie & Dale

Julie & Dale recently celebrated their 20th anniversary, and wanted me to take photos to celebrate! They are two cool cats, and I love everything about them. It was like we were instantly friends, because they are just that awesome. And the fact that they were rockin the rockabilly vintage action just made it perfect. I could babble on forever about how great they are. We did our shoot first at Fairhaven Chapel and Mausoleum. Then cruised to LA and hit up Union Station and Olvera Street.

They treated me very well to some Philippe’s for dinner (my first time!) and then we spent the rest of the night traveling around Los Angeles. We went to check out Hollywood Forever graveyard, but sadly it was closed. Then we went and found the Black Dahlia house, where the infamous Black Dahlia murder occurred. It was a cool and creepy glimpse into the past. And lastly we explored Frank Lloyd Wright’s Hollyhock House and snooped around, it was also creepy and awesome. I don’t go to LA much, but being able to experience some of the great historical things in LA makes me appreciate it A LOT more. I love that stuff.
